Getting Started
Every new account starts with 1'000 trial credits, valid for 14 days. No credit card required. This gives you room to explore Protime and see the value before committing.
What are credits?Credits are Protime's unit of AI processing. Each briefing consumes credits based on how much content is processed — so your usage depends on how many sources and topics you follow. You can see exactly what you have used at any time in your subscription settings.
When your trial ends. Any remaining trial credits are cleared when your first invoice is issued. From that point on you run on the credits included in your plan — trial credits are not added on top.

Team
From CHF 125 per month. Everything in Pro, plus shared credits for your team.
Your team shares one credit pool. When someone is inactive or on vacation, others can use their credits. No wasted credits.
Team is billed per seat at CHF 25 per seat, with a floor of five seats — CHF 125 per month. Smaller teams are welcome, but a team of two still pays for five seats. Above five, you pay for the seats you actually use. Members who do not use Protime Inbox are free.
Your monthly pool is 1'000 credits per billed seat — so the five-seat floor comes with 5'000 credits per month. You do not configure this separately; it grows as you add seats. An overage cap keeps your maximum spend predictable.

What uses credits?
The main cost. Each briefing processes your content through AI to create summaries.
Small cost when AI searches for new newsletters, RSS feeds, and web content.
Minimal cost for creating topic quizzes to track expertise.
How many credits do I need?
It depends on how often your briefings run and how many sources and topics they cover — two people on the same plan can use very different amounts. Rather than guess, start on your trial and watch the real number: your subscription settings show your actual credit usage as it happens.
Billing & Payments
Pay monthly or save 20% with annual billing.
Choose your preferred currency at checkout. Our prices are set in Swiss francs; the other currencies follow the current exchange rate, so they shift slightly over time.
Your subscription stays active until the end of your current billing period.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Available on Pro and Team. Set your own monthly overage limit to increase your available credits beyond what your plan includes. At the end of the month, only the overage you actually used is charged to your credit card. Starter does not include overage and cannot buy extra credits.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens when I run out of credits?
Briefing generation pauses automatically. No surprise charges. On Pro and Team you can purchase additional credits, upgrade, or simply wait for your credits to reset at your next renewal. On Starter, extra credits are not available — you would move up to Pro.
Can I switch plans?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade at any time. Changes take effect right away, and your invoice is adjusted for the part of the period you have already paid for — so a change mid-month is charged immediately, not at your next renewal.
Do unused credits roll over?
Credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Plan your briefing frequency to make the most of your included credits.
Is there a free plan?
There is no free plan, but new accounts start with 1'000 trial credits for 14 days. After that, you need a subscription to continue generating briefings.
