What is Protime, exactly?
Protime weaves your inbox, calendar, tasks, the official Swiss registers and the news that matters into one prepared morning. Email is sorted and drafted in real time as it arrives; if a business partner becomes a risk, the warning lands in your brief with the official record. Your day starts prepared.
What does starting free look like?
Connect Gmail or Outlook. Your first morning view arrives the next day, plus 1,000 news credits. No credit card. Cancel or pause any time.
How do I get access to the commercial register?
Register access is a separate subscription at CHF 100 a year, independent of the inbox and of your plan. It lets you query SHAB publications straight from Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity; your first three companies are free. Ongoing monitoring of your business partners (the partner radar) is a different thing — that one is included in the plans.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Credits only cover the news briefings: when they run out, the briefings pause until your next cycle — or you top up. Inbox and partner radar simply keep running. No surprise bills, no overage fees.
Which payment methods?
All major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express — through Stripe. Encrypted and PCI-compliant.
How does the Team plan work?
One shared credit pool for the whole team. When someone is on vacation or quiet, the others can use their credits — no wasted budget, no headcount admin. Billing follows the active seats, with a five-seat minimum.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — at any time. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
What happens to my data when I cancel?
Email content is never stored — it is processed in memory and not persisted. Metadata such as subject and sender is kept for 12 months. After cancellation your account is deleted following a 30-day grace period and access to your mailbox is revoked. Billing records stay anonymised for 10 years, as Swiss company law requires (CO Art. 958f).
Is my data secure?
EU-hosted on Google Cloud Frankfurt. Protime files, archives and drafts — but never sends: on Outlook we never request the send permission, and on Gmail no code path ever calls send. Access revocable any time. CASA Tier 2 certified, ISO 27001 in motion, SOC Type I planned. We never train on your data.
Does Protime send email on my behalf?
No — replies sit in your mailbox as drafts and you click send. On Outlook we never request the send permission. On Gmail, Google grants read, write and send only as one bundle; we never call send anywhere, so only drafts are ever created.
