What is Protime, exactly?

What does starting free look like?
Connect Gmail or Outlook. Your first morning view arrives the next day, plus 1,000 news credits. No credit card. Cancel or pause any time.
How do I get access to the commercial register?
Register access is included in the Pro plan and the Team plan: you query the commercial register straight from Claude or ChatGPT. Without the Pro or Team plan, register access is a separate subscription on registerbuch.ch at CHF 100 a year; looking things up on registerbuch.ch is free. The partner radar, the daily check of the business partners in your inbox, is a different thing and comes with the Pro and Team plans.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Credits only cover the news briefings: when they run out, the briefings pause until your next cycle — or you top up. Inbox and partner radar simply keep running. No surprise bills, no overage fees.
Which payment methods?
All major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express — through Stripe. Encrypted and PCI-compliant.
How does the Team plan work?
The Team plan is CHF 1'800 a year for 3 seats, invoiced annually, no credit card. Each additional seat is CHF 50 a month. Everyone shares one credit pool; the building guardian and 500 companies in Company Watch are included. You book a call, we set up your organisation.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — at any time. You keep access until the end of your billing period.
What happens to my data when I cancel?
Email content is never stored — it is processed in memory and not persisted. Metadata such as subject and sender is kept for 12 months. Cancelling does not delete your account automatically. Write to privacy@protime.ai and we delete your account data, briefings and files immediately, and from backups within 14 days. Invoice, subscription and consent records are kept separately for ten years, as Swiss company law requires (CO Art. 958f) — without any briefing or mailbox content.
Is my data secure?
EU-hosted on Google Cloud Frankfurt. Protime files, archives and drafts — but never sends: on Outlook we never request the send permission, and on Gmail no code path ever calls send. Access revocable any time. CASA Tier 2 certified, ISO 27001 in motion, SOC Type I planned. We never train on your data.
Does Protime send email on my behalf?
No — replies sit in your mailbox as drafts and you click send. On Outlook we never request the send permission. On Gmail, Google grants read, write and send only as one bundle; we never call send anywhere, so only drafts are ever created.
Do you offer refunds?
Not for the Pro plan or the Team plan. You try the Pro plan free for 14 days first, no credit card; after that you pay monthly or yearly (two months free) and can cancel at any time to the end of the billing period. The Team plan is invoiced annually. For the annual registerbuch.ch subscription you get the full amount back within 30 days of purchase.
