For SMEs with in-house accounting

Fake invoices and customers going bankrupt:Protime warns you in your inbox before you pay or deliver.

Protime checks the company behind every email against the Swiss commercial register and speaks up when something is wrong. It drafts the reply as well. It runs in your Outlook or Gmail, with no extra portal.

30 minutes by video. We show it in a real mailbox.

Why this matters now

970

cases of CEO fraud in Switzerland in 2025, +35 %

The fraudsters pose as the boss or a supplier and ask for an urgent payment. According to the federal cyber office (BACS), they also research the commercial register to do it.

14'958

company bankruptcies in 2025, +30 %

The first quarter of 2026 was higher again: +106 % on the same quarter a year earlier.

under 6 %

average bankruptcy dividend, according to WEKA

In 98.3 % of bankruptcies the creditor gets nothing. You file your claim within one month of the call for creditors (Art. 232 SchKG).

Only 42 % of Swiss SMEs feel protected against cyber attacks. SME cyber study 2025, Mobiliar/digitalswitzerland

What happened

At a family business in Bern, a payment instruction came from the real, compromised account of a person inside the company – with new bank details and time pressure. The mail filters saw nothing, because the sender was genuine.

The only thing that stood out was the content: bank details that were new for this sender. That is exactly what the Payment Guard looks for.

What Protime does in your inbox

You keep working as before. Protime speaks up where you reply anyway.

A warning in the reply draft

When a company writes to you, the draft shows what the commercial register reports about it: bankruptcy or a debt moratorium, a person who is no longer authorised to sign, an email announcing new bank details. Every warning cites the official publication as evidence.

Payment GuardNew · rolling out

It spots payment requests and bank details that don’t fit a sender’s usual pattern and prompts a call-back on the number you already know. It does not stop payments and only works in mailboxes connected to Protime.

Currently in a learning phase: it learns your senders’ patterns, and Protime switches the alerts on afterwards.

A customer’s bankruptcy, the morning after

If a customer goes bankrupt, you know the morning after it is published in the official gazette, with the deadline for filing your claim and a link to the official PDF.

Reply drafts in your voice

Every email that needs an answer has a draft ready, in your tone. You check it, adjust it and send it.

Frequently asked questions

Does an AI read my emails?

Protime only reads the mailboxes you connect. The data is stored in the EU. Our AI providers (Google and Anthropic) are contractually barred from using your content for training, and fixed deletion periods apply. We wrote our privacy policy together with a data protection lawyer.

We already have Copilot.

Copilot writes text. It does not check the commercial register and does not warn you when a payment request doesn’t fit the sender. That is the part Protime takes on.

We already use Moneyhouse or Creditreform.

Those services show company data when you go and look. Protime shows it in the reply draft while you are writing to the company, with no second login.

We have no budget for this.

One unpaid invoice of CHF 10'000 costs you around CHF 9'400 if the customer goes bankrupt. Team costs CHF 3'000 a year.

Where is the data? Does anything leave Switzerland?

Protime is a Swiss company, blueSky Information GmbH in Lucerne. Your data is stored in the EU, registerbuch.ch register data in Switzerland. For AI processing we work with Google and Anthropic; details are in the privacy policy.
